Ultra-lightweight products of polycrystalline mullite/alumina wool (PCW) are generally of benefit in all applications where very specific requirements to chemical, thermal and thermomechanical stability are needed.

For these conditions, SCHUPP^® Ceramics supplies a specific range of insulation products with application temperatures up to 1800 °C. This includes wool, blankets, boards, tubes and other formed parts.

UltraVac insulation materials can also be used to produce complete furnace linings ready for installation. On request, they can also be combined with the electric heating elements by SCHUPP^® Ceramics into complete heating systems for demanding production and research environments.
