The SCHUPP area at a glance.

Efficient thermal insulation up to 1800 °C.

Aachen, 15th of March 2016 – Low shrinkage, long lifetime and high dimensional stability are important criteria by choosing the right insulation material. SCHUPP® Ceramics offers a wide range of high temperature insulation boards made of polycrystalline alumina wool (PCW) up to 1800 °C application temperature.

We present you two qualities: UltraBoard 1750/400P and UltraBoard 1750/400PS.

The qualities UltraBoard 1750/400P and UltraBoard 1750/400PS.

UltraBoard 1750/400P and UltraBoard 1750/400PS are usable up to 1700 °C application temperature. The benefits at a glance:

UltraBoard 1750/400P

  • no refractories ceramic fibre (RCF)

  • pure PCW (polycrystalline alumina wool)

  • good machinability

  • more chemically resistant than insulation boards with RCF content

  • low thermal conductivity

  • very low shrinkage

UltraBoard 1750/400PS

  • no refractories ceramic fibre (RCF)

  • pure PCW (polycrystalline alumina wool)

  • more chemically resistant than insulation boards with RCF content

  • high alumina content (Al2O3) of 85 %

  • improved abrasion resistance

  • dust formation is reduced to a minimum

Technical details concerning both qualities as well as other UltraBoard qualities can be found in our data sheet.
