Our brochure contains all important information on SCHUPP® Ceramics, collected to provide a good overview.
MolyCom®-Ultra 1700, 1800 and 1850 are made up of the intermetallic compound molybdenum disilicide (MoSi2) with ceramic additives. It is particularly long-lived and corresponds to the industrial standard.
MolyCom®-Hyper 1800, -Hyper 1800SC and Hyper 1800AP are the solutions for particularly high high-purity demands. These heating elements comprise of the high-purity intermetallic compound molybdenum disilicide (MoSi2) with ceramic additives.
MolyTec combines intermetallic heating elements of molybdenum disilicide (MoSi2) and insulation shapes of polycrystalline mullite/alumina wool (PCW) in heating systems ready for installation for demanding production and research environments.
SCHUPP® Ceramics offers a wide range of accessories for connection of electric heating elements of molybdenum disilicide (MoSi2). This includes element holders, such as single- and two-shank holders, contact straps, air nozzles and passage bricks.
UltraBoard insulates electrically heated industrial and laboratory furnaces up to an application temperature of 1800 C. Made of polycrystalline mullite/alumina wool (PCW), the parts are a high-quality alternative to insulations of aluminosilicate wool (ASW), also known as ceramic fibre (RCF).
UltraVac represents individual insulation materials ready for installation in electrically heated high-temperature applications – even with complex designs. The vacuum-formed shapes are application-specifically produced as individual parts or in small series of polycrystalline mullite/alumina wool (PCW).
ITM-Fibermax® is the flexible version of the thermal insulation of polycrystalline mullite/alumina wool (PCW) – both as a raw material in the form of wool or needled blankets. The material is a very good substitution material for ceramic-fibre materials (RCF).
The process temperature control rings PTCR monitor and document furnace conditions. In addition to the pure temperature influences, among others the effects of different phenomena, such as temperature gradients, hold times and atmospheres are considered.
For precise determination of the shrinkage of a process temperature control ring PTCR, a precise and even measurement is decisive. To ensure this, we offer a special digital micrometer with precise holder for the rings and a USB interface for data transmission.
The PTCR WEB APP is the ideal supplement for the process temperature control rings PTCR by SCHUPP® Ceramics. The web-based application bundles recording, documentation and evaluation simply and safely – also optimised for mobile end devices.
FiberPlast 1800PRO is the high temperature adhesive for application temperatures of up to 1750°C. The plastic, ceramic single-component adhesive is made of polycrystalline mullite/alumina wool (PCW) and inorganic binder – specific additives ensure simple processing and permanent adhesion.
UltraSetter UV 1700-10 are lightweight sintering and firing setters based on polycrystalline mullite fibres (PCW). They are suitable for application temperatures of up to 1650°C.
UltraSaggars UV 1600-10 are saggars, optionally with a lid (capsules), for sintering and firing of small work pieces. The firing saggars and capsules are suitable for application temperatures up to 1600°C.
